Refund Policy for EM Holistic Therapies

1. Introduction

This Refund Policy, along with our Terms and Conditions, governs the refund process for services and e-gift cards purchased from EM Holistic Therapies. By booking a service or purchasing a gift card, you agree to this policy.

2. Service Cancellations and Refunds

Your booking secures a dedicated time slot for your personalised therapy. As such, our cancellation and rescheduling policy is in place to manage these commitments.

Appointments cancelled with more than 24 hours' notice: You may reschedule your appointment once free of charge or request a full refund.

Appointments cancelled with less than 24 hours' notice: These appointments are generally non-refundable. However, we may offer a partial refund or credit toward a future booking at our discretion, particularly in the event of unforeseen circumstances.
No-Shows: If you fail to attend a booked appointment without prior notice, the full payment for the session is non-refundable.

3. Refundable Deposits and Payments

If you have paid in advance for a service or a multi-session package, any refund will be processed according to our cancellation policy. Where you are entitled to a refund, it will be processed to your original payment method.

4. Service Non-Performance

In the unlikely event that EM Holistic Therapies must cancel your appointment, you will be offered a full refund or the option to reschedule at your convenience.

5. E-Gift Card Refunds (For Purchaser Only)

14-Day Cooling-Off Period (Online Purchases): As per the Consumer Contracts Regulations, purchasers of e-gift cards made online have a 14-day "cooling-off period" during which they can cancel their purchase and receive a full refund, provided the e-gift card has not been redeemed or used.
Expiration of Right to Cancel: The right to cancel a gift card purchase expires as soon as any part of the card's value is redeemed.
Non-Refundable After Redemption: Once a gift card has been redeemed or used, it is non-refundable. The 14-day cooling-off period does not apply to the gift card recipient.
Validity Period: Gift cards are valid for 6 months from the date of purchase. Any remaining balance on an expired gift card is non-refundable.

6. Eligibility for a Refund (General)

Refunds are provided at our discretion and are generally limited to the following circumstances:

In accordance with the 14-day cooling-off period for unused e-gift cards purchased online.
In the event of a cancellation by EM Holistic Therapies that cannot be rescheduled.
For services that were not provided as described, though we ask that you raise any concerns immediately to allow us the opportunity to resolve them.

7. How to Request a Refund

To request a refund, please contact EM Holistic Therapies directly via email, detailing your name, service booked, date of appointment, and the reason for your request.

8. Refund Processing

Where a refund is approved, it will be processed within 14 business days. The refund will be credited to the original payment method used for the purchase.
